About Rocky Road Farms Angus
Rocky Road Farms Angus is owned and operated by Matt & SuAnn Solverson of Darlington, WI. Matt was raised on a dairy farm in Southwest Wisconsin, and he always had an interest in cattle. His wife, SuAnn, grew up in Northwest Illinois, and her family produced Registered Angus cattle. Beginning with a small cow/calf herd in 2019, we began to purchase registered Angus cattle from proven seed stock herds. We have slowly grown our females through artificial insemination, choosing maternal lines which focus on maternal efficiency, calving ease, docility, easy-keeping cattle, and quality meat. About 2026 Bull Offering
Spring Bulls
This bull crop is a nice selection of balanced EPD cattle bred for maternal traits, docility, calving ease, carcass improvement making easy keeping cattle. My hope when you use my bulls that you will have less work in your day of cattle caretaking with reliable easy keeping cattle without losing growth or production. These cattle are raised in Southwestern Wisconsin. The cows received pasture, grass/alfalfa hay and do well to maintain their weight with reasonable feed efficiency. Currently I am feeding 20 bred cows 2 round bales of alfalfa every 3 days with a little left over.
Semen testing and Delivery
Bulls will be Semen tested in mid to late April. Free Delivery within 100 miles of Darlington WI. Prefer delivery by June 1, 2026.
Vaccination
Bulls have receieved Bovi-Shield GOLD FP 5 L5 Cattle Vaccine, Bovishield Gold One-Shot, and Ultrabac-7 x2
Registration
All Bulls are registered with American Angus Assoication and DNA tested for proof of pedigree
